Proposal: Mindset & Cooking Day for Street-Connected Children
Introduction
The Mindset & Attitude Foundation is committed to nurturing the hearts and minds of vulnerable children by combining life skills training with acts of compassion. We believe that true transformation comes when the mind and body are both nourished.
We are proposing a Mindset & Cooking Day for approximately 150 street-connected children. This event will offer more than food – it will provide inspiration, joy, and practical support through mindset sessions, a shared meal, and essential gifts.
Objectives
- Provide a nutritious meal to 150 children.
- Deliver a practical mindset and attitude session to build self-belief, discipline, and resilience.
- Create a fun, safe, and memorable experience with music, games, and entertainment.
- Provide dignity through branded t-shirts and distribute essential items such as sanitary pads and small gifts.
Program Outline
- Welcome & Icebreakers – engaging children with fun, songs, and games.
- Mindset Session – inspirational talk on discipline, attitude, and hope for the future.
- Cooking Together – preparing and sharing a wholesome meal.
- Serving & Eating – children enjoy rice, meat, potatoes, chapati, and juice.
- Gift Distribution – branded t-shirts and essential items handed out.
- Closing Celebration – music, dance, and group photo to mark the day.
